Attractions on Sentosa Island
Sentosa Island is where locals and tourists alike go to get away from it all. And as well as its tropical beaches, you'll find some spectacular views.
Among the most important sights on the island are:
Images of Singapore
An interactive museum, where you can immerse yourself in the past of Singapore. It combines perfectly actors, sound and scale reproductions of moments that defined the history of the city.
If you're a history buff, this is an unmissable museum.
Tiger Sky Tower
This is a rotating observation tower, which rises 131 metres above sea level. The views of the island are spectacular, but it has to be said, if you're looking to admire Singapore from up high, there's nothing like the Singapore Flyer.
The Merlion & Merlion Walk
At 37 metres tall, this is the largest Merlion statue in Singapore. The views from above are fantastic, but since the Tiger Sky Tower was built it's been relegated to second place.
Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom
More than 1,500 butterflies flying around you, and 3,000 insects to admire. Always a hit with the little ones.
Underwater World
A major aquarium where you can enjoy unique experiences such as swimming with dolphins or taking a dip with a shark...
Another of the unusual activities in Underwater World is Fish Reflexology. This consists of putting your feet in a tank of water, and letting the little fish get rid of the dead skin. Then a massage therapist will treat you to a reflexology session.
Fort Siloso
This is a restored Second World War fort, with real size recreations and armaments.
Along with Images of Singapore, this is a great place to learn more about the history of Singapore.
